Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil. Instead, plants grow in a nutrient-rich solution. This can be done in a variety of ways, but the basic idea is to provide the plant with everything it needs to grow, including water, nutrients, and oxygen, without the need for soil. There are many benefits to using hydroponics; including increased crops, reduced water usage, improved pest and disease resistance and overall control of the growing environment.
